I have a wonderful square table – counter height – great for doing projects, playing games, wrapping gifts. So that’s where I started pour painting. The table is spacious – 48″ square – but oh my gosh the chaos I was creating! Paint. Unpainted vases. Painted vases. Supplies I was gathering.

It was getting out of control!
Meanwhile, I had transformed a room a year or two ago to be a “project room” – a great space for arts & crafts, organizing photos to scan, sew, whatever the “craft of the day” happened to be. But there was no storage. So off I went to IKEA in search of the perfect storage. Oh geez. Not in Stock was the tag for everything I liked. I was discouraged. So, I hunted online, and then of course I went to my usual “go to” site – amazon. I ordered exactly what I’d wanted from that other store, and rather than me figuring out how to haul them home, they were delivered to my door.

I spent time over the next week (because, you know, I have lots of other stuff going on, too!) assembling cabinets. As is my usual, I had several “Lucy and Ethel without Ethel” moments. 🙂 But I got them done and moved my painting production to the project room!
I love love love the space I use to paint, and I love love love having the rest of my house in order (well, usually!)

And now I need to go pay some attention to that elliptical!
